Course Description

C Data Structures is an instructor led training course designed for users with a solid working knowledge of C language basics who have also successfully completed the Advanced C course. This course has been designed to follow the Advanced C course and covers more complex topics in C for business, database, scientific, engineering, and real-time control applications. Topics covered in this course include: linked lists, doubly linked lists, binary trees, stacks, and queues.

Participant Materials

M. Tenenbaum, el al, "Data Structures Using C", Prentice Hall.
Approximately 45 pages of desktop published notes plus a 60 page solution set.

Duration of Training

3 Days, 9:00 to 4:00 (course times may vary)

Course Prerequisites

C-1, C-2, C-3 or equivalent experience which is 2+ years of C programming minimum. Basic familiarity with the appropriate operating system is assumed.

Terminal Objectives

The objective of this course is to provide a working knowledge of common C data structures which will allow their use in custom programming applications.

Course Structure

Lecture, discussion, demonstration, and hands on programming exercises. A minimum of 50% of the class time is spent on hands on programming exercises.
