Course Description
This is an instructor led training course concerned with the problems
encountered in setting up or running a department or company wide PC or workstation based
CAD system. It is a lecture based overview course. Many topics will be covered, but not in
great detail. While much of this course will be applicable to any PC or workstation based
CAD system, any CAD system specific details will be based on AutoCAD.

Terminal Objectives
The objective of this course is to provide CAD users and managers with an
overview and appreciation of the problems that they face in a company wide PC or
workstation based network of CAD systems. Potential solutions to these problems will be
discussed.
Course Structure
This course is lecture based, not "hands-on" computer based.
Lecture, discussion, and written or verbal exercises will be used to identify specific
problems for CAD users and managers.
