DeepSoft, LLC. Facilities

The office is professionally furnished and equipped with four engineering workstations. All systems are running Windows XP Pro, 2000 Pro, or NT 4, use single or dual 32 or 64 bit Pentium or AMD processors, include 64 Mb's to 4 Gb RAM, use 19" to 21" monitors, include fast SCSI hard drives and controllers, and are linked with 100 Mbs fast Ethernet. A film scanner, flatbed scanner, two printers, and an HP 800 DesignJet printer/plotter support graphical i/o. High speed fiber optic internet access is available on all workstations via a network cable router. The facilities also include a 700+ volume library of engineering & programming books plus the previous two years issues of twelve different engineering & programming magazines. Primary CAD systems are on individual UPS. Ergonomic Equa seating by Herman Miller is used.

MCAD Software:

Inventor and SolidWorks are used for 3D, parametric, feature based solid modeling for product design. AutoCAD is used for 2D mechanical design. Algor and NE Nastran provide 2D & 3D finite element analysis (FEA) capability for end to end MCAD support. 3DConnexion space balls are used on primary CAD systems for efficient 3D model geometry input.

EDA Software:

Protel DXP provides end to end support for electronic schematic capture, PCB design and autorouting, design rule check, and MCAD interface for custom single board computer design. The combination of Inventor or SolidWorks and Protel allow exporting 3D models of PCB's with components into either solid modeler via the IDF interface.

GIS Software:

Autodesk MAP, Maptech Terrain Navigator, and TOPO! provide custom mapping capabilities including access to USGS 7.5' topographic map quads for the entire United States.

C & C++ Programming:

Microsoft Visual C/C++, Borland C/C++, Borland C++ Builder, Metaware C, Archimedes C, Linux C/C++, plus a wide variety of software engineering and programming tools.

Technical Publications:

Corel Ventura Publisher, Corel Draw, Corel Paint, Adobe PhotoShop, and Adobe Acrobat Distiller can all drive the HP DesignJet 800 PS Postscript printer which supports paper 42" wide in 150' rolls by 2400 dpi at 16.7 million colors. The DesignJet printer supports CAD drawings, solid model renderings, FEA models and results, full size map production, large image photographic output, and large format graphic arts posters which can contain any or all of these elements.

Business Applications:

Microsoft Office, FrontPage, QuickBooks, and many other utilities
